FATHOM CCR Cave Diver

Class schedule

Upon successful completion of this course, divers are considered competent to plan and execute closed circuit rebreather cave dives to 30 m with up to 30 mins of planned decompression utilizing helium-based breathing gas mixtures and a single decompression gas.

Prerequisites

  • FATHOM Medical Screening
  • Dive accident insurance
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Certified FATHOM CCR Diver with 25 logged CCR dives
  • Certified Intro to Cave or equivalent through a recognized training agency with 25 logged cave dives

Course outline

The CCR Cave Diver course is normally conducted over five days. It requires a minimum of eight dive sessions and at least forty hours of instruction, encompassing lectures, land drills, and at least eight hours of dive time.

  • Maximum depth of 30 m
  • Maximum planned decompression of 30 mins
  • One decompression gas
