FATHOM CCR Diver

Class schedule

Upon successful completion of this course, divers are considered competent to plan and execute closed-circuit rebreather dives to 30 m with no planned decompression utilizing nitrox or helium-based breathing gas mixtures.

Prerequisites

  • FATHOM Medical Screening
  • Dive accident insurance
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Certified nitrox diver with 100 logged dives

Course outline

The CCR Diver course is normally conducted over five days. It requires a minimum of eight dive sessions and at least forty hours of instruction, encompassing lectures, land drills, and at least eight hours of dive time.

Course parameters

  • 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio
  • Maximum depth of 30 m
  • No planned decompression
  • Two open water dives to at least 24 m
  • Unit-specific course - Mk V or Gemini CCR
